Lámh Tutor Training Programme 2017
The next Lámh Tutor Training Programme will be held in 2017 in Dublin. This popular course is for those whose work involves supporting children and adults who use Lámh and their families and who are in a position to deliver Lámh Courses to staff members and families in their service.
The Lámh Tutor Training Programme now trains participants to deliver 7 different Lámh courses, from the Little Lámh Workshop to the QQI Level 5 'Using Lámh in a Total Communication Approach Course'.
Previous participants have said:
"I particularly liked the inclusion of a variety of speakers and the opportunity to discuss issues relating to working with adults as I work with children."
"The support from the Lamh office is excellent and a really important part of being a Lamh Tutor"
"Delivered my first Lamh course this week and felt the training I had received really helped".
In order to apply, you will need to have completed a Module One Course followed by the QQI Level 5 'Using Lámh in a Total Communication Approach Course' (or if you trained prior to 2013, the Module Two Lámh Course/5-Day Lámh Course) as well as fulfilling the criteria listed on the Tutor Training page
If you would like to talk about the Lámh Tutor course, please contact Mary Cullen, Lámh Project Manager, at info@lamh.org to arrange a call.
